X-Men Portraits
Dave and I have had a lot going on, but we’ll be back to updating this blog soon. In the meantime, here are some really great X-Men character portraits. They’re from artist Dave Rapoza, and I think they’re better than a lot of the artwork I’ve seen in Marvel comics throughout the years.

Geek Tyrant has posted some really interesting artwork of X-Men re-imagined as medieval warriors. Click on the image above to check it out; you’ve got to see Beast and Wolverine. I would read this comic.

The X-Men Circus
I apologize for the lack of blogging lately, but I’m moving my family into a new home. It will pick up again soon. In the meantime, here is something fun to look at. What if Charles Xavier had started a circus instead of a school, one hundred years earlier? Artist Curtis Tiegs created this poster art to give us an idea. You should check out his portfolio, because he does a lot of great work and pulls from various facets of pop culture.
The Old School is New Again
I was recently watching X-Men First Class and I noticed something for the first time (I think). At the very end of the film, Magneto is sporting his old school helmet from the 60s, with the silly crescent over his brow that looks like some sort of insect. It was a really nice finishing touch on what was an excellent film.
I wonder what helmet he’ll have next summer.
First Class Cosplay
This is some first class cosplay right here… literally. I thought it was fitting for our blog. They even went the extra mile and got cerebro right. Cosplay rules.

Before I get to X-Men issue 37, I’d like to take a moment to share this article. It takes a look at 16 instances of superheroes going to trial. The article doesn’t mention the next issue, but this will be a good read before we get to Factor Three.
